New Song Saturday (10-30-10)

So, before it's not Saturday anymore for me on the East Coast, I must post this quickly, or else the title would be a lie.  New Song Saturday is going to be weekly, so watch out.

This Saturday's new song is by a great band from Brooklyn, New York, called The So So Glos.  With a great indie/rock sound, they can satisfy many different ears.

Matt & Kim - Sidewalks *NEW ALBUM*

If you haven't heard of Matt & Kim, then you don't know what you're missing.  Matt Johnson and Kim Schifino are one of the most creative bands out there.  Well known for songs like "Daylight" and "Yea Yeah," Matt & Kim use a perfect blend between Kim's drums and Matt's keyboard.  The indie rock/dance punk duo from Brooklyn, New York has prepping rigorously for their new album "Sidewalks," which releases on November 2010. One their YouTube channel (youtube.com/mattandkim), they have been posting song previews such as this:

 I am super excited for this new album.  I heard parts of it at one of their listening parties before the Cleveland show.  I don't think that it will have any trouble living up to any expectations that people may have for it.  From what I heard, it was excellent and possible my favorite of their three albums.
